My Progress for this Year

On February 27th, I spoke with another class of University students in their "Religion" class. It was an exhilarating experience. I have spoken to maybe 7 or 8 classes, but this class by far was the most engaged and the most engaging. I spoke and answered questions of Islam for about 2 1/2 hours. Many of the students had a previous knowledge of Islam, so the questions were far from rudimentary . Generally I give the basics of Islam and my road to the religion and then answer questions for about an hour. On this occasion, after about an hour and a half, we took a break and I gave out my new booklet "FAQs About Islam" and the class asked me to continue. I truly had a great time. I am eternally grateful to the Professor for allowing me the opportunity to speak with his class. He and a few of the students have encouraged me to seek a larger audience, but my current undertaking, writing about religion, has comsumed most of my free time.

And speaking of my writings, the aforementioned "FAQs about Islam" is a booklet which is something that I intend to give out to those interested in learning about Islam. It has 200 frequently asked questions about Islam and their answers. Quick and easy reading, which may provoke the reader to contact the local Imam or stop a Muslim and ask for further explanations about Islam. I am very close to completion of my booklet abut the Islamic understanding of Jesus (pbuh). I am simultaneously putting together the booklets for "The Most Important Thing in the World" and my assessment of the Palestinian and Israeli conflict. I intend to have all of these books finished before the end of this year, InshaALLAH. There are a few more ideas that I have in their infancy stage, and I will strive to make these ideas a reality.

Shukran for all of the support.

Peace to all.
