How to Perform Funeral Prayer in Islam 
There are certain requirements to perform a funeral prayer in Islam. These are called pre-requisites. These requirements should be complied with. There are also certain Duas that are needed. Prerequisites

You should remove all the impurities from your body, cover your awrah, and face the direction of the Ka’bah. You should also make dua, which means you have to say a prayer for the deceased.
You can perform the funeral prayer in the following ways: the first is through the takbir (calling to prayer), the second is by rakah (supplication), and the third is the funeral prayer. During the funeral prayer, the first rakah should be dedicated to Allah, followed by the second. Next, the third rakah is for the Janazah dua for the deceased. And then, you should finish the prayer with the salutations led by the imam.
Requirements
When performing funeral prayer, it is essential to remember the rules of Islam. It is permissible to offer funeral prayer in absentia if the deceased person was a benefactor to Muslims, or if the deceased person was a mujaahid. The deceased must have been a member of the community.

Necessity

Both the boy and the woman should have the best body possible. A single prayer may be offered for the deceased or a separate one may be offered for the male and female.
